Using Reset on Boat & Marine
Chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) neutralizes odors caused by smoke, mildew, food, garbage, bio-fluids, and other persistent sources on compatible marine materials and enclosed spaces.
Reset ClO₂ products generate liquid or gas-vapor treatments for label-directed applications. Tank, line, and potable-water work must follow the specific labeled protocol.
Always test material compatibility and follow the product label and Safety Data Sheet.
US Transportation & Restoration Industry (Active) Chlorine Dioxide Standard Protocols:
- Reset Gas Deodorize: 100 Grams ClO₂ in 32 oz water (with aerator) treats up to 500 ft² with 10′ ceiling
- Reset Liquid: On porous and non-porous surfaces
- Tank & Line: Use 50ppm liquid (rather than typical 100ppm)
Proven safe on steel, plastics, vinyl, rubber, upholsteries, wood, marble, electronics and wiring.
